The Rev. Joseph Emerson, Jr.: Pepperell’s Patriotic Preacher

On Veterans Day, November 11, 2017, historian Ron Karr will give a presentation at the Prudence Wright Chapter House of the Daughters of the American Revolution, 4 Main Street, Pepperell, MA, at 2:00 p.m., on Pepperell’s forgotten Revolutionary hero, fervent Patriot, and first minister, Joseph Emerson (1721-1775). Ron has been a member of both the Pepperell Historical Commission for nearly 30 years and is an officer in the Pepperell Historical Society. He has a doctorate in History from Boston University and is a retired reference librarian from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Free admission, all are welcome!
